Invitation to participate in research study : Information search patterns of data scientists

  • by

As a part of my PhD research project at Applied Artificial Intelligence Institute of Deakin University, we are investigating what data scientists search for in online resources and what challenges they face whilst searching.

The objective of this study is to understand search behavior of data scientists including triggers for searching, difficulties faced during information retrieval, information usage patterns and quality of information sources (frequency of use, perceived usefulness and perceived accessibility).

Through understanding the search behaviors of data scientists, we can improve their productivity by developing tools that are tailored to their information needs and by organizing existing information sources for efficient information retrieval.

If you can spend 20 minutes, your feedback is highly appreciated. This is an anonymous survey.

Please share the following link with your friends, colleagues and family members who are data scientists and help us to collect more responses.
